Lion TCR is a Singapore-based clinical stage T cell immunotherapy company focusing on development of T cell receptor (TCR) engineered T cells immunotherapy against viral-related cancers. Our core immunotherapy technology platform involves developing and commercializing TCR-T cell products against viral-related cancers, of which the leading product candidate is against hepatitis B virus related hepatocellular carcinoma and chronic hepatitis B virus infection. Our strategic objective is to build a global oncology business with an extensive portfolio of engineered TCR therapeutic candidates that have the potential to significantly impact the clinical outcomes of patients with cancer.
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Technology Specialist to join the Technology and Manufacturing Department. The selected candidate will conduct research that will help develop novel technologies and manufacturing process improvements for generating T-cell receptor (TCR)-T cells, with the goal of development of our next generation TCR-T cell therapy products against viral-related cancers. He will also be involved in technology transfer of new products and processes from product development to manufacturing both locally and overseas.
Key responsibilities:
- Reports to the Director of Technology and Manufacturing Department, work closely with the Technology team lead to plan, design and execute experiments in line with project timelines and goals
- Drafting and execution of protocols, standard operating procedures and experiment reports
- Edit and review technical documents (standard operating procedures, protocols, batch records, reports) from Manufacturing Department
- Analyse and organize results, determine appropriate follow-up experiments, and communicate progress update to the team lead and Director
- Analyse industry trends, research and evaluate publications to assist in developing new products and processes
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
- Effectively communicate plans and results in both oral and written form
- Assist in purchasing and maintaining inventory of reagents and consumables
- Assist in technology transfer of new processes and products developed in Technology team to Manufacturing team and to overseas sites
- Demonstrate flexibility to support other activities such as the Manufacturing team within the department when required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Immunology, Life Science, Biological Science or a closely related field preferably with 2 years of academic and/or industry experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Experience with cell culture and sterile techniques is required
- Experience performing T-cell based functional assays and multi-color flow cytometry (panel set-up, data analysis, etc.) is a plus
- Candidates with prior experience in cell therapy product development, manufacturing and research based cellular immunology would be advantageous
- Proficiency in the use of software to support data analysis such as FlowJo, CytExpert or equivalent, GraphPad Prism and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Self-motivated and willing to accept short-term responsibilities outside of initial job description
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment
- Strong organizational and record keeping skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction, and able to adjust workload based on changing priorities of the company
